Preassignment
Needs assessment
We assess the needs of your assignee according to their personal circumstances. Getting to know your assignees and their wishes is the key to successful service delivery.
Visa & immigration
We advise on the most appropriate visa and which immigration procedures to follow. We then help collect all required documentation before submitting the application to the appropriate authorities or accompanying your assignee if they are required to submit in person. Once their visa has been processed, we collect all documents and return them.
Preview tour
Our consultant familiarises your assignee and their family with the character and vibe of their destination city, giving an overview of potential residential areas, possible schools and the local health system.
Cultural training
Your assignee learns about the local culture and business environment in their new host country. This programme is tailored to the specific needs of your assignee and their family.
Language training
Language training increases the effectiveness of the assignment and gives your assignees and their families the confidence to express themselves in their new environment.
Relocation
Temporary accommodation
If your assignee’s permanent accommodation is not yet available by the time their assignment begins, we arrange a temporary stay in a furnished apartment that meets their requirements.
Home search
We evaluate your assignee’s needs and research appropriate housing options. Once we have a short-list of properties that meet their requirements and your mobility policy, we accompany them on viewings. Once a property has been decided on, our consultants coordinate the signing of the lease.
School search
Your assignee receives a dossier on appropriate schools in the area. We accompany them to interviews and assist in the registration process.
Settling-in services
Your assignee gets a guided tour of their new neighbourhood, where we point out all the useful amenities. We also help organise basic utilities – like internet, gas or electricity – and advise on opening local bank accounts, converting drivers’ licenses, obtaining insurance and local registrations
Partner support
We familiarise your assignee’s partner or spouse with their new environment by making contact with locals and other expats through expat or sports clubs. We also offer career support services, such as CV creation and job application assistance.
Departure
Termination of lease and utilities
We help your assignee terminate their lease in good time. This service includes giving notice on all housing-related contracts, like telephone, internet, water and electricity.
Property closure
We organise and coordinate the cleaning and eventual repair of your assignee’s rented accommodation. We also arrange for furniture removal, facilitating the booking of a removals company and coordinating the operation.
Exit formalities
Your assignee receives a pre-departure checklist to make sure that they have tied all loose ends. We assist with the closure of bank accounts, mail forwarding, local government de-registration and cancelling any local subscriptions or club memberships.
